Do It Differently

Growing up I always did certain things a certain way; even as an adult I still do certain things a certain way, but with each stage of life I have learned to change things up a bit. Change has been challenging for me, and it has at times even made me emotional.

However, I have also learned to embrace change because I have seen the good that can come from it. So with this new year we are all about to embark on; I would like to actually challenge you to embrace change and see where it will take you. I will be doing the same thing.

So my encouragement for you today is: let's all draw closer to the CREATOR each day, and do things differently. Let's all go out in obedience to HIM and take steps we have never taken before, and see where our journey leads us. Let's do this new year differently than we did the previous years. I truly believe that our best days are right in front of each of us.

New Beginnings

Since tomorrow is the beginning of a new year I just wanted to take a moment and wish you all a HAPPY NEW YEAR!

May each new day of this coming year for you be blessed more than you can imagine. My hope and pray for you will be that each new day will be filled with joy, peace and most of all love.

As you embark on a new year I will continue to pray for you that the CREATOR will bring blessings upon blessings in each step that you take. As we say goodbye to the old and hello to the new; may it be the best new beginning for your journey.

Just Keep Doing

There will be many times along your journey where there will be certain choices you will have to make, and those choices will determine whether you stand strong or give in. Standing strong doesn't mean your perfect; it just means you made a choice.

By all means my family is not perfect, but we have taught our children to stand for what they believe no matter what. Now let me be clear about something: you will face lots of oppositions for your choices, but in the long run it's worth it. You were never meant to please people; you were meant to shine, and be all that you were created to be.

So my encouragement for you today is: no matter what opposition comes your way; never back down to what others want; stand strong in what you believe, and just keep doing what you know is right. Standing for what's right pleases the heart of the CREATOR, and that's what matters most!
